Mo' Pun intended...

Man, I have been feeling a lot of Punisher-love lately. I have no idea why. I just keep coming back to ol' Frank again and again and again. I also cannot explain why my style changes wildly every time I draw him. I kind of like this cartoon-ish, barrel-chested version. I'll try to stick with it.

Maybe it has to do with the tools I was using...which brings me to...

One more boring point of interest (can a point of interest be 'boring'? I mean, if it's already interesting, how can it be-- sigh, never mind): I sketched, inked, and colored this piece entirely using a wacom tablet (and Paint Tool Sai).
For those unfamiliar, it's essentially just a flat black pad that plugs into the usb port of your computer. It comes with a special pen (or 'stylus') that makes drawing feel a little more natural than it would with a mouse. Actually, the two are apples and oranges.
